Onboarding Guide with Sherlock Agent

Purpose: Help new users complete setup and connect integrations.

Written by Gemma from Sherlock

1. About You

Explain how users enter their name and role to personalize their workspace.

2. Connect Calendar

Describe how to link Google Calendar, Outlook, or Zoom, and how Sherlock decides which meetings to join (job interviews, keyword matches, or manual selection).

3. Dry Run

Show how to upload or use a sample video to see how Sherlock analyzes interviews. Include video requirements and what the analysis preview looks like.

4. Connect Slack

Guide users to connect Slack for instant report notifications and suspicious‑case alerts.

5. Add Teammates

Explain how to invite teammates, assign roles (Viewer, Co‑ordinator, Admin), and what each role can do.

6. Onboarding Completion & ROI Summary

Once all 5 setup steps are complete, the onboarding widget will fold down into a compact summary card displaying "You're all set (05/05)" alongside your key productivity and coverage metrics:

  • Protected Interviews (Fraud coverage): Tracks the total number of interviews analyzed and backed by Sherlock evidence for fraud and compliance.

  • Review Time Saved (Operational efficiency): Shows hours of manual video review avoided using AI summaries and timestamped evidence.

  • High-Risk Candidates Flagged (Decision quality): Displays candidates flagged early for review prior to making hiring decisions.

Note: You can update your workspace setup and preferences anytime by clicking the link on the bottom right of the completed card.
