Integrating Sherlock with Zoom

Connecting Zoom allows Sherlock AI to support Zoom meetings that require registration. Once connected, Sherlock can access the necessary meeting information and help manage meeting registration workflows.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Dashboard

  • Log in to Sherlock AI

  • Locate the Connect your calendar section on My Dashboard (or navigate to Settings).

Step 2: Select Zoom

  • Under Connect your calendar, find the option that reads: "Sync calendar events from Zoom"

  • Click on Zoom.

Step 3: Sign In to Zoom

  • A Zoom authentication window will pop up.

  • Enter your email address and password, or sign in using SSO, Apple, Google, Facebook, or Microsoft.

Step 4: Authorize Sherlock AI

Once signed in, Zoom will display a permission request for Sherlock AI.

The requested permissions are:
• 👁️ View a user's meetings
• 👤 View user information
• 📝 Add a registrant to a meeting

Note: These permissions allow Sherlock to identify scheduled calls and join sessions to provide real-time fraud protection.

Step 5: Approve the Connection

Click Allow to authorize the integration.
• If you do not wish to connect Zoom, click Decline.
• If prompted with the checkbox "Allow this app to use my shared access permissions", leave it unchecked unless explicitly required by your organization.

Step 6: Confirm Connection

Once approved, the pop-up window will automatically close, and your Zoom integration status will show as Active on your dashboard.

How to Disconnect Your Zoom Account

You can disconnect your Zoom account at any time via your Settings. Once disconnected, Sherlock immediately deletes your stored Zoom authorization data and stops accessing your Zoom account.
